The following is a (not necessarily complete) list of assumed biology knowledge for GAMSAT. You need to learn this subject to first year degree level, though I found most of the biology questions reasonably intuitive, the clues are often in the question.
- Homeostasis.
- Negative feedback, eg in the endocrine or female reproductive systems.
- Structure and function of the heart, (Cardiac Cycle, major arteries and veins, valves, systolic and diastolic pressure)
- Structure and function of the lungs (trachea, bronchioles, alveoli, oxygen dissociation curves)
- Structure and function of the heart (Blood pressure, pathology)
- Osmosis (osmotic pressure)
- Inheritance and selection (Mendelian genetics)
- The Cell (Meiosis, Mitosis, Glycolosis, Krebs cycle)

I’m not sure of how much use this will be but I’ve been compiling lists of videos and I have a chem and a biology list (very short so far).
If anyone else has done the same, or found some good clips it’s be good to know.
